Health Alert! Swine Flu Pandemic - Real or Exaggerated?

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock you’ve no doubt of heard what the media is calling the Swine Flu Pandemic or is it?

I for one am always weary of anything from mass media outlets especially when it’s sensationalized and uses fear to get people’s attention so I was relieved to read a detailed article entitled “The Swine Flu Pandemic – Fact or Fiction?” from Dr. Mercola which balances all the doom and gloom portrayed in the news.

While I don’t necessarily believe everything in that article, it just feels more truthful than what’s being spewed 24/7 on the news networks.

The Other Silent Killer

I don’t know about you but when I think of silent killer I immediately think of heart disease.  Must be all those public service ads I’ve seen but there is another just as ominous silent killer that is probably lurking in your kitchen cupboards.

It’s MSG and according to Dr. Mercola it’s as dangerous if not more so than nicotine, alcohol and many drugs and it hiding in many things we eat everyday.  I say hiding because it’s not as easy as looking at the ingredient list because food manufacturers have become savvy and called it something else.
